N-E-X-T EXHIBITION : OCTOBER 2010

We are currently planning our next ordinarypeople exhibition: BLANKSPACE.

What I can say, is that it is scheduled for the end of October.

What I can also say, is that it will be freakingly spectacularly delicious.

For starters, we have some amazingly talented artists involved.

Secondly, we'll be inviting artists to do spontaneous works 'live' at the opening.

Sounds pretty rad? We think so too.

More details to come.

UPDATE

After our launch in December, we are having a short hiatus as both Anna and myself are focusing on other projects.

We will have some exhibition images from both ordinarypeople: collaborative art project in vienna, and Anna's exhibition 'Haut' up shortly.

Currently you can see some of Anna's work (alongside other artists) being exhibited in:

WHAT THE....?

ordinarypeople: collaborative art project in vienna, is the brainchild of two very ordinarily extraordinary young individuals, living and trying to survive in Vienna.

Frustrated with existing art channels and institutions and looking for a way to share their ideas with the world, ordinarypeople was born.

Connected via social networks (not to be confused with 'social networking') through common interests and similar attitudes towards lifestyle and creative expression, ordinarypeople is the culmination of the randomness of life. When strangers from different worlds meet and find common ground through artistic expression.

ordinarypeople pools resources through these contacts, with minimal outside assistance, in order to source temporary free open spaces to exhibit creative works in different environments.
